1. No past SC minutes available for review
2. Treasurer’s Report
Current Balance $8,488.34 of which 210.39 is CERT’s.
3. Non-profit
Need to fill out articles of incorporation
Need to look at who needs to be directors
401C4 – type of non-profit
Need an EIN
Need financial data for past 4 years.
By-laws are missing:
Not compensating directors
Definition of the fiscal year
4. Need a secretary of the OMVNA
Ronit will send out an email and try to find one.
5. General Meeting
None scheduled until July – July 20
Need to get a clear idea about the meeting so we can advertise / publish in the newsletter.
Need to present Heritage House at general meeting – to fulfill grant requirement
6. Downtown committee update
Stakeholders meeting described in Newsletter
Alison, Ronit, and David met with Ellis Berns
Goal was to brain storm about how OMVNA could help with recruitment strategy
City will outreach to property owners
Ideas to help included:
Bring retailers to city’s attention or approach them ourselves
Promote shopping in downtown
Organize community support
Work with CBA
7. Bike Safety Rodeo
Aaron can be there for one hour
Ronit will also try to be there
8. Newsletter Ads
Website is out of date
Website will be updated to say space is limited
9. Goals for the Year
Made progress in downtown development
10. Heritage House Web Site
Street trees could be added to web page
Alison discussed the basic layout and invited feedback
Meeting Adjourned at approximately 9:00 PM.
